Jadi Sekolah Penggerak Kurikulum Merdeka, Siswa SMPN 4 Ciamis Belajar Kearifan Lokal, Kunjungi Situs Budaya
tjiamis- SMPN 4 Ciamis, Jawa Barat, menjadi sekolah penggerak kurikulum merdeka di Kabupaten Ciamis.
Salah satu pembelajaran dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berupa Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) untuk kelas 7.
Kepala SMPN 4 Ciamis, Lilis Hertati S.Pd M.Pd menyebut, ada 3 tema yang harus dilaksanakan sekolah penggerak Kurikulum Merdeka, dalam kegiatan project penguatan profil pelajar pancasila (P5).
Pertama tema gaya hidup berkelanjutan dengan subtema green school. Kedua tema Bhineka Tunggal Ika dengan sub tema keberagaman budaya dan ketiga tema kearifan lokal subtema menyusuri warisan leluhur.
“SMPN 4 Ciamis sudah melaksanakan ketiga tema itu dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaraan untuk kelas 7,” ujar Lilis, Jumat (10/2/2023).
Lanjutnya, dalam tema yang ketiga yaitu kearifan lokal subtema menyusuri warisan leluhur, pelajar di SMPN 4 Ciamis melakukan pembelajaran ke situs situs budaya yang bernilai sejarah, di tatar Galuh Ciamis.
Sebelumnya, siswa SMPN 4 Ciamis mengunjungi Situs Jambansari, kemudian ke Keraton Selagangga. “Untuk hari ini, siswa diajak mengunjungi Situs Karangkamulyan,” katanya.
Sebanyak 222 siswa kelas 7 didampingi 20 guru pembimbing, melaksanakan pembelajaran ke situs Karangkamulyan.
Tujuan dari kegiatan itu kata Lilis, agar peserta didik mengenal kembali sejarah khususnya di Ciamis
“Sehingga kami berharap, tumbuh rasa cinta terhadap warisan leluhur dan budaya sendiri dari para siswa,” ungkapnya.
Selain melakukan pembelajaran kearifan lokal warisan leluhur, siswa SMPN 4 Ciamis juga melaksanakan tema gaya hidup berkelanjutan dengan subtema green school.
“Para siswa kita ajak belajar menanam pola hidroponik di sekolah. Alhamdulillah, lingkungan sekolah menjadi hijau,” ucap Lilis.

Dengan penerapan P5 ini, Lilis juga berharap para peserta didik bisa mengembangkan diri dari dimensi profil pelajar pancasila, yaitu beriman, mandiri, bekebinekaan global, gotong royong, bernalar kritis dan kreatif.

Sementara itu Ketua Komite SMPN 4 Ciamis Dudung Abdullah, didampingi Ketua Paguyuban Orang Tua Kelas 7 Taufan Nugraha, menyambut baik pembelajaran Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5).
“Tentunya kami mendukung, apalagi ini berkaitan dengan pembelajaran kearifan lokal di Ciamis,” katanya.
Memang seharusnya menurut Dudung, sebelum siswa diajak mengunjungi wisata luar, lebih baik mengunjungi wisata-wisata yang ada di Ciamis, khususnya yang bernilai sejarah.
“Sebelum ke Jogja atau tempat di luar daerah lainnya, ajak dulu ke Jambansari, Karangkamulyan, Kampung Kuta atau Situs Astana Gede Kawali. Supaya siswa ini punya pengetahuan dan wawasan soal sejarah Galuh atau Ciamis,” ungkap Dudung.
Dengan berjalannya pembelajaran ke situs situs budaya lokal, SMPN 4 Ciamis sudah menjadi vionir SMP di Ciamis, yang mendukung pelestarian budaya itu sendiri.
Selain itu, SMPN 4 Ciamis secara langsung mampu menyumbangkan PAD dari sektor wisata budaya dan sejarah.
“Karena para siswa juga membeli tiket untuk masuk ke lokasi wisata sejarah yang ada di Ciamis. Kedepan, tentunya harus ada kolaborasi juga dengan Badan Promosi Pariwisata Daerah (BP2D). Karena SMPN 4 sudah mendukung pariwisata di Ciamis,” jelasnya.
Mengenalkan kearifan lokal kepada siswa tambah Dudung, selain siswa punya wawasan dan pengetahuan soal sejarah budaya, mereka juga akan memiliki kebanggaan (identitas) tentang daerahnya.
“Sehingga implementasi kurikulum merdeka, akan benar-benar mencetak Pelajar Pancasila yang cinta terhadap daerahnya, budaya, bangsa dan negara,” pungkas Dudung.
